Giro Atmos

Giro's Atmos is a favorite helmet among many roadies, XC riders and cyclocross racers everywhere. It's crafted with Giro's In-Mold and Roll Cage technologies for excellent durability and low weight, plus it boasts a whopping 26 vents and Giro's Wind Tunnel venting to pull cool air in and blow hot air out, a vital feature when you're laying it all out on the race course. Maybe best of all, it utilizes Giro's Roc Loc 5 retention system for a perfect fit.

      Comments:

Started racing in the early 70's, have been cycling for 40+ years, often in hot conditions. This helmet is lightweight, cool and best of all, it covers my head a bit more than comparably priced helmets. Probably the best fitting helmet I've ever tried on, which is a big deal as I owned a bike shop for 13 years, and then was on the road with a bike company for 3 years afterwards. Expensive, but I would buy another one if I had to.
