IZIP's E3 Peak lets you combine your human pedal power with a high-torque motor for a seriously fun mountain bike. This sturdy electric bike is energized by a Currie Electro-Drive motor hidden in the bottom bracket. It propels you simply with two modes: IZIP's smooth, torque-sensing PAS (pedal-assist) mode lets you maximize your range, while the TAG (Twist & Go) throttle gives you pedal-free power whenever you need it. Off road or through the streets, the aluminum frame, RockShox suspension fork, 27.5-inch wheels, and SRAM 9-speed drivetrain maximize your speed, comfort, and fun.

Purchased this bicycle about two weeks ago as a vehicle substitute. Previously i had biked 12+ miles to work each day - great ride - but a bit exhausting. I did not want to purchase another car, but wanted something that would provide rapid transport and exercise at the same time. Great bicycle - you can adjust how much assistance you want and even at zero assist, its rides like a normal bicycle. When you activate the assist, its like having a good tailwind but you must still pedal to get the full benefit. Great. Arrive at work after 12 miles of riding, plug in the charger and at the end of the day, the ride to home is much easier. Very happy thus far and plan on ordering an additional battery and charger.
