I use my bike for all round use, from commuting daily to hitting logging roads on the weekends. I had two flats on my first two rides with my new bike, the dealer recommended these and I haven't had a problem sense then.

Use these to communte 5 days a week, 125 miles a week. Bought a bike with them already installed, had 100 or so miles on them. 600 miles later and have never had one flat or even slight loss of pressure. Never had a tire last this long without a flat.

        Comments:

I needed a good multi-purpose tire which would provide a smooth ride on the road (about an 8 mile commute every day) while not completely making my bike useless for off-road use. All I can say is: Mission Accomplished! The puncture resistance is simply the icing on the cake. This product is the near perfect compromise and if you have similar requirements you wont be disappointed if you buy these tires.

        Disappointed

        Comments:

I've had these tires for a little over two weeks and have already had a flat (ran over a small piece of broken glass bottle). I know it's just happenstance, but it's very disappointing after paying[$]a pop.

This is the heck of a tire. I've only been riding it for 6 weeks and i can tell. The aramid bead is awesome, it's great in any weather, and is like it's waterproof. It handles awesome on the trails, and the knobs give it good turn control. Have this in the front and a panaracer rampage in the back. This is really the choice for a beginner to middle level cyclist.

            Comments:

The only bad thing about these is that they are hard to find. I live in Moab, Utah, a Mecca for hard core mountain biking. Several friends and I have heavy electric bikes which we use for our only transportation. These mountain bikes weigh eighty to one hundred pounds and go at a fairly high average speed. I weigh 175, and my heaviest friend is a very muscular 290. The tires were an accidental find. My friend was given a set that was worn smooth in the center by a tour company. The mechanic said that they would last for years, but that customers demand new tires. He was right. Neither the finder, with his worn out set, nor my larger friend, nor I, have EVER had a flat with these. Mind you we use Slime and tire protectors too, but these are probably overkill. We ride mostly on roads, but also on trails, and sometimes on slickrock. Goatheads (also called Puncture Vine) are everywhere. The withering sun also does not seem to rot these. So far they have saved me much trouble and outlasted several sets of lesser tires. I ride at night and in winter conditions, and not having a flat is a safety and security issue. So if you hate flats, try these. If Moab can't kill them, nothing can.
